The Presidency has explained why the All Progressives Congress, APC, adopted President Bola Tinubu as its sole candidate for the 2027 presidential election.
Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, said the APC leadership carried out a midterm assessment of Tinubu’s performance and agreed that he deserved another term based on his good works
On Thursday, the APC National Assembly Caucus and the party’s governors’ forum all endorsed Tinubu for a second term following what they termed his good works.
Speaking at the APC National Summit in Abuja, the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, said the party has adopted Tinubu as its sole presidential candidate.
Featuring on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday night, Bwala said: “What happened in beauty to behold, it’s tapestry of organization and it goes to show that APC as a progressive party living to its creed.
