The Kwara State Commissioner for Education, Dr. Lawal Olohungbebe, has charged participants at the in-house training on job efficiency and productivity to translate the knowledge gained into improved performance and effective service delivery within their various departments.
Dr. Olohungbebe gave the charge recently while speaking at a three-day training organised by the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development in Ilorin.
The Commissioner emphasised that the initiative is designed to enhance workplace efficiency, foster professional discipline, and boost overall productivity within the Ministry, highlighting the importance of continuous learning in strengthening institutional capacity and cultivating a responsive and ethical civil service.
Also speaking, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs. Olanrewaju Rebecca, underscored the strategic role of civil servants as custodians of government processes and urged attendees to uphold integrity, professionalism and commitment in the discharge of their duties.
In his presentation, a retired Protocol Officer and seasoned Administrator, Pastor Oluwagbemiga Jolayemi, emphasised strict adherence to Public Service Rules, noting that this is critical to achieving a peaceful and fulfilling career in the civil service
