The Kwara State Muslim Council will on Thursday, September 4th, host this year’s Maolud Nabiyyi to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Newsmen gathered that The event will take place at the State Stadium, Ilorin, at 10 a.m., with Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, expected to attend.
According to a statement by the council’s chairman, Justice Salihu Olohutoyin Muhammad (rtd), stated that the Grand Khadi of the Kwara State Shariah Court of Appeal, Justice Abdullateef Kamaldeen, will deliver the keynote address, noting that Guest lectures will be presented by Sheikh Abdulkadir Muhammad Kamaldeen Al-Adaby and Shaykh Habeebullah Adam Al-Ilory, while other eminent personalities and Islamic groups have been invited to participate.
