Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has become the club’s all-time fourth-highest scoring foreign player following his goal in Sunday’s Turkish Super Lig match against Rizespor.
Osimhen reached the milestone during Galatasaray’s 3–0 away victory, sealing the win with the third goal in the 73rd minute.
Barış Alper Yılmaz had given Galatasaray an early lead in the 19th minute, before Yunus Akgün doubled the advantage to put the visitors firmly in control.
Osimhen’s strike took his total tally for the Istanbul giants to 52 goals, moving him past former striker Bafetimbi Gomis, who scored 51 goals for the club.
The Nigerian forward now ranks behind Mauro Icardi, Gheorghe Hagi, and Milan Baroš on Galatasaray’s list of highest-scoring foreign players, with 73, 72, and 61 goals respectively.
The result further strengthened Galatasaray’s position in the league as Osimhen continues to play a key role in the club’s title push.
