The annual Ramadan Tafsir holding at the Palace of the Emir of Ilorin will commence tomorrow, Friday 20th February 2026.

This followed the approval of the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR.

According to Alhaji Sulu-Gambari, the morning session will be holding at 10am daily to be led by the Imam Imale of Ilorin, Alhaji Abdullahi Abdulhamid and supported by other members of the Council of Ulama in the Ilorin Emirate.

While the afternoon session will be led by the Imam Gambari of Ilorin, Sheikh Imam Sulyman Abdulazeez, at 4pm prompt.

The Emir, once again, congratulates Muslim Ummah for witnessing this year’s Ramadan fasting and prayed Almighty Allah to grant us absolute mercies and forgiveness in the glorious month.

He however urged sons and daughters of Ilorin Emirate and beyond as well as Muslim ummah in general to be part of the gathering.
