The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari,  has congratulated the Grand Mufti of Ilorin Emirate, Sulyman Farooq Onikijipa, on the occasion of his birthday.

In a statement issued by his Press Secretary, Dr. Abdulazeez Arowona, the monarch described the cleric as an erudite Islamic scholar and philanthropist who has consistently served the community.

The Emir commended the Grand Mufti for his contributions to the growth and development of the Ilorin Emirate, noting that he remains a distinguished and worthy representative of the emirate.

He also offered prayers for continued strength, good health and divine guidance for the cleric, his family and associates.

The message reaffirmed the Emir’s appreciation of the Grand Mufti’s role in religious and community affairs within Ilorin and beyond.
