Tinubu Pledges Peace and Economic Progress for Nigeria

President Bola Tinubu has vowed that Nigeria will not succumb to those seeking to disrupt peace and unity in the country.

He made the remarks on Monday evening during an Interfaith Iftar with religious and traditional leaders at the Presidential Villa.

Tinubu emphasized the government’s commitment to tackling insecurity, asserting that Nigeria would prevail against threats from terrorist groups.

“Nigeria will never let people who cause trouble damage its peace, unity, and independence,” he said.

The President noted that despite current challenges, the country is making progress in security efforts. “We are not discouraged. We are going to win, and we will win in a strong and fair way,” he added, describing terrorists as increasingly desperate as they lose ground.

He also highlighted signs of economic improvement. “I can say that the economy has started to improve. It’s improving, and older people are slowly starting to feel some relief,” Tinubu stated.

Reaffirming his dedication to public service, the President pledged to continue serving the nation with loyalty and commitment.

The message underscored both the administration’s focus on restoring security and its efforts to strengthen economic recovery, particularly for vulnerable populations.

Tinubu’s address aimed to reassure citizens and faith leaders that government strategies are yielding tangible progress despite ongoing challenges.

The Interfaith Iftar event provided a platform for dialogue between the presidency and religious communities on issues of national unity, peace, and development.
