
The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Jimoh Olohundare Moshood, on his elevation to the prestigious rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) by the Police Service Commission (PSC).
This is contained in a goodwill message issued on Friday by the Emir’s Press Secretary, Dr. Abdulazeez Arowona.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari who described CP Jimoh Moshood as a competent and dedicated Police Officer with comprehensive experience in anti-robbery combat, Intelligence, Communications and Information Management among other unique areas of expertise.
“Thank you for being a proud son and a great Ambassador of Ilorin Emirate as well as working diligently as a patriotic Nigerian and detrabalised global citizen”, the Emir added.
He also thanked the Inspector General of Police, IGP Tunji Disu and the entire leadership of Police Service Commission, (PSC) for finding CP Jimoh Olohundare Moshood worthy of the new rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) following his track records of excellent performances and selfless service to the nation in the past years.
The monarch however sent his hearty congratulations to all the newly promoted Police Officers nationwide on their meritorious and well-deserved accomplishment, even as he prayed that Almighty should grant them the strength and wisdom to discharge their duties diligently for the nation.
