Paul Onuachu is expected to remain at Trabzonspor this summer, with reports from Turkey indicating the club is unlikely to entertain offers for the striker despite growing transfer interest.
The Nigeria international has attracted attention from clubs in Saudi Arabia and across Europe following an impressive campaign in the Turkish Süper Lig, where he currently leads the scoring chart with 21 goals.
Reports suggest Saudi side Al-Ahli is prepared to offer the forward up to four times his current annual salary to secure his services.
However, Onuachu is said to be reluctant to leave Trabzonspor after developing a strong connection with the club’s supporters during his first full season.
The 31-year-old joined the Turkish side from Southampton last summer for a reported fee of about €5.6 million and has since become a key figure in the team’s attack.
He remains under contract with the club until 2028, with an option for a further one-year extension, strengthening Trabzonspor’s position as they seek to retain the prolific striker.
