Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, a former deputy Governor in Kano state, has resigned his membership from the All Progressives Congress, (APC).

He tendered his resignation letter on 29 March 2026, and addressed to the APC Chairman, Gawuna Ward, Nassarawa Local Government Area of Kano State.

He disclosed that his decision to leave the party was “voluntary and personal” adding that, “I hereby formally resign my membership from the All Progressives Congress (APC), effective March 29, 2026.”

He expressed appreciation to the party for the opportunities he enjoyed during his time as a member.
