Chelsea Hold Talks Over Rosenior’s Future

Chelsea FC are holding internal meetings to decide the future of head coach Liam Rosenior following a run of poor results in the Premier League.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano disclosed on Wednesday that discussions were ongoing within the club’s hierarchy as they consider whether to make a managerial change.

The talks come a day after Chelsea suffered a 3–0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion FC, extending the team’s losing streak to five consecutive Premier League matches.

Romano said the club’s leadership had previously backed Rosenior but acknowledged that recent performances had intensified pressure on the coaching staff. “Meetings ongoing during the morning and again now at Chelsea to make final decision on Liam Rosenior’s future,” he wrote.

Chelsea have struggled for form in recent weeks and have not scored a league goal since March 14.

During that period, the team lost 1–0 to Newcastle United FC, 3–0 to Everton FC, 3–0 to Manchester City FC, 1–0 to Manchester United FC and 3–0 to Brighton.

Club officials are now weighing their options as they consider a possible change in direction following the team’s extended slump in form.
