An alumni of the University of Ilorin, Alhaji Kabir Ivori Jibril, has been installed as the OHI ANANYIN of OKENWE in Kogi State.
It was gathered that, although, his appointment was announced about a year ago but awaiting grand-reception as a First Class Traditional Ruler, a graduate of Political Science at UNILORIN barely two decades ago among other certifications.
Meanwhile, the Managing Director/CEO of EMIRATE RADIO 98.5 FM, Dr. Abdulazeez Arowona, decribed the installation of His Royal Highness, Alhaji Kabir Jibril as a good news to all his friends, associates and humanity in general.
He stressed that, “the monarch, during his days at the University of Ilorin, demonstrated high level of comradeship among his peers, he exhibited quality leadership styles as the Class Leader with humility, honesty and strong supports to his course-mates.”
“I can vowch that His Royal Highness will lead his people with utmost dedication towards the development of his domain and beyond.”
Arowona, who is also the Spokesman to the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, however thanked the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ododo, for finding Alhaji Kabir Jibril worthy of the new status.
He therefore urged the monarch to always explore widespread consultation as a veritable tool for the administration of his domain at all time even as he prayed that Almighty Allah will grant him sound health and absolute comfort to enjoy the throne.
