Iran Speaker Accuses US of Pressure Campaign

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has accused the United States of attempting to weaken Iran through economic pressure and media influence, warning that such actions could have wider consequences.

Speaking on Wednesday, Ghalibaf said Washington was relying on what he described as inaccurate information to shape its policies toward Iran.

“The enemy is very hopeful about economic pressure, and it is clear that they have once again received false reports, and based on these reports, they have made wrong decisions,” he said.

He cautioned that the approach could be damaging beyond Iran, adding: “This wrong decision will cause everyone to suffer.”

Ghalibaf also stressed that increased pressure would not force Iran to concede, insisting the country would remain resilient.

“No matter how intense the pressure becomes, the Iranian nation will endure for the sake of independence,” he added.

His remarks come amid ongoing tensions between United States and Iran, particularly over economic sanctions and geopolitical influence in the region.
