APC Releases Lagos Reps, Assembly Primary Winners

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos State chapter has released the list of winners of its House of Representatives and Lagos State House of Assembly primaries ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Monday by the state party chairman, Cornelius Ojelabi, confirming the conclusion of the party’s primary elections across the state.

According to the party, 24 candidates secured tickets for the House of Representatives, while 40 aspirants emerged as candidates for the Lagos State House of Assembly.

For the House of Representatives, notable winners include James Abiodun Faleke (Ikeja), Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa (Agege), Babajimi Benson (Ikorodu), Muftau Egberongbe (Apapa), Fuad Atanda-Lawal (Eti-Osa), Fuad Kayode Laguda (Surulere I), Lanre Okunnola (Surulere II), and Wale Raji (Epe).

In Alimosho, Olabisi Adebanjo emerged as the only female candidate among the 24 House of Representatives flag bearers announced by the party.

For the Lagos State House of Assembly, winners include Mojisola Meranda (Apapa I), Musibau Lawal (Apapa II), Barakat Bakare-Odunuga (Surulere I), Damilola Ayinde-Marshall (Surulere II), and Gbolahan Yishawu (Eti-Osa II), among others.

Other assembly ticket winners include Toyin Gafar and Moshood Aro in Ikorodu I and II, Oluwagbemiga Abiola in Agege I, and Oluwaseun Adebisi Ege and Suraju Tijani in Ojo constituencies I and II, respectively. The party said the primaries were successfully concluded across all constituencies in the state.
