The Management of Emirate Radio 98.5 FM, Ilorin has congratulated the newly elected Executive Council of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, NIPR Kwara State Chapter, describing the emergence of the new leadership as a welcome development for the communication profession in the state.
NIPR Kwara elected a new set of Executive Council members following a peaceful and well-contested election during its just-concluded State Annual General Meeting (AGM) where Mr. Ogunade Gabriel was returned for a second term as Chairman of the Chapter.

Emirate 98.5 FM commended the entire electoral process for its transparency, orderliness, and strict adherence to the NIPR Code of Conduct, noting that the conduct of the election has further deepened confidence in the Institute.
The station also paid glowing tribute to the Electoral Committee and Election Monitoring Team for their diligence, impartiality, and professionalism throughout the exercise.
It further acknowledged the contributions of Professor Saudat Abdulbaki, fnipr and Alhaji Saadudeen Salaudeen, fnipr to the growth and visibility of the Chapter over the years.
Dr. Arowona said, “We congratulate Chairman Ogunade Gabriel and his EXCO. We also pay tribute to Prof. Saudat Abdulbaki and Alhaji Saadudeen Salaudeen for the intellectual and institutional capital they have built for NIPR Kwara.”
Emirate 98.5 FM reaffirmed its commitment to partner with the new EXCO through media advocacy, and public enlightenment programmes across Kwara State.
The station therefore wished the Chairman, the new EXCO, the Electoral Committee, and all members of NIPR Kwara a successful and impactful tenure.
