Kano Pillars have reached an agreement to re-sign defender Fabian Nworie ahead of the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, reports.
Nworie previously featured for the Sai Masu Gida during the 2023/24 campaign before completing a move to Remo Stars.
The 28-year-old enjoyed a successful spell with the Ikenne-based club, helping Remo Stars win the 2024/25 NPFL title under head coach Daniel Ogunmodede.
His return to Kano Pillars will see him reunite with Ogunmodede, who recently took charge of the club after working with the defender at Remo Stars.
An official announcement of Nworie’s signing is expected in the coming days.
Kano Pillars are also expected to unveil several new signings in the coming weeks as they strengthen their squad in pursuit of a return to the top of Nigerian football.
