Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, has convened a high-level security meeting with heads of security agencies and key stakeholders to strengthen measures for protecting lives and property across the state.

The meeting held at the Government House, Birnin Kebbi, had in attendance representatives of the Military, Nigeria Police, DSS, NSCDC, NDLEA, vigilante groups, officials of the Ministry of Internal Security, chairmen of the 21 Local Government Areas, and members of the State Executive Council.

According to the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Alhaji Yahaya Sarki, the meeting is part of Governor Idris’ proactive commitment to improving security through enhanced collaboration, intelligence sharing, and coordinated operations.

“The meeting reflects the Governor’s consistent approach of regularly reviewing the state’s security landscape to identify emerging threats, assess ongoing operations, and implement effective measures that will sustain peace, stability, and public safety throughout Kebbi State,” Sarki said.

He noted that the engagement is aimed at reinforcing security across all 21 LGAs of the state.
