President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered the Armed Forces, Nigeria Police and intelligence agencies to intensify operations in Kaduna State to hunt down the attackers of Naridon Village in Kamaru Ward, Kauru Local Government Area.

The President gave the directive on Tuesday while condemning Monday’s attack that killed about 30 residents, including women and children. Several houses were also set ablaze and some residents were abducted.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu described the assault as a “barbaric and cowardly act of terror against innocent and defenceless citizens.”

“I have directed the Armed Forces, police, and relevant intelligence agencies to intensify operations across the affected areas to track down the perpetrators swiftly, secure the release of abducted individuals, and restore normalcy to the region,” the President said.

He vowed that criminal elements seeking to undermine the peace in Kaduna State “will be decisively dealt with” and will not escape justice.

Tinubu also extended condolences to the bereaved families, Governor Uba Sani, the Kaduna State Government and the people of the state. He assured them of the Federal Government’s support.

The President further urged residents to cooperate with security forces by providing “timely and actionable intelligence” to aid response efforts.

“Our administration has an unwavering commitment to strengthening security infrastructure, equipping response personnel, and neutralising criminal networks attempting to disrupt the peace of the nation,” he added.
