Former Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, is mourning the death of her husband, Anthony Adeniyi Adeosun, who passed away in Lagos on Tuesday at the age of 62.

The Adeosun family announced his death in a statement issued on Thursday, describing him as a man who dedicated his life to God, his family and service to others.

The statement, signed by Reverend C. A. Adeosun on behalf of the family, said the announcement was made “with profound sorrow, yet in total submission to the will of Almighty God.”

The family did not disclose the cause of his death but said further details about funeral arrangements would be communicated at a later date.

Anthony Adeniyi Adeosun’s death has drawn condolences from family members, friends and associates who have continued to pay tribute to his life and contributions.
