The All Progressives Congress (APC) says it has completed the upload of all its governorship and State House of Assembly candidates on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Candidate Nomination Portal ahead of the 2027 general elections.
APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, disclosed this in a statement on Friday, congratulating party leaders, members and candidates across the country on the completion of the exercise.
Yilwatda said the party had successfully uploaded the details of 56 governorship and deputy governorship candidates and 1,015 State House of Assembly candidates to the INEC portal.
“I am pleased to announce that the All Progressives Congress has successfully achieved a 100 per cent upload of all our 56 Governorship and Deputy Governorship, and 1,015 State House of Assembly candidates on the INEC Candidate Nomination Portal,” he said.
The APC chairman described the development as a demonstration of the party’s organisational strength and readiness for the next stage of the electoral process.
Yilwatda said the party would now focus on engaging Nigerians ahead of the 2027 elections and highlighting what it described as the achievements of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
