The African Democratic Congress, ADC, in Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State has intensified its grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections with the inauguration of 13-member booth executives across the 23 polling units in Ezeama/Okpala Ward 4.

The inauguration was led by the party’s Ngor Okpala Local Government Chairman, Sir Emeka Amajirionwu, and attended by party leaders, members and supporters from across the ward.

Amajirionwu expressed satisfaction with the turnout and the level of organisation in the ward, commending party leaders and stakeholders for their efforts to strengthen the party’s grassroots structure.

He urged the newly inaugurated booth executives to intensify mobilisation and engage residents in their respective communities, stressing that an effective grassroots structure was critical to the growth and electoral success of any political party.

Amajirionwu also commended the ward chairman and other party leaders for their efforts to expand the ADC’s presence across the local government area.

A party chieftain, John Eke, charged the new booth executives to take full responsibility for their respective polling units and mobilise at least 10 committed voters to participate actively in the electoral process.

The State Deputy Woman Leader, Lady Leticia Okere, commended the inclusion of women in the booth executive structures and urged them to use their networks and organisational skills to mobilise support for the party.

The Apex Leader of Ezeama/Okpala Ward 4, Dr Chigozie Okereke, thanked the party leadership for visiting the ward and urged members to remain committed to the ADC.

Okereke said the economic hardship confronting residents made it important for party members to take the ADC’s message to their communities and engage voters ahead of the 2027 elections.

The inauguration is part of the ADC’s broader efforts to strengthen its booth-level structures, expand its grassroots presence and deepen voter mobilisation across Ngor Okpala ahead of the 2027 polls.
