Sinanduwiru is dead, Shettima of Okuta condoles Emir Kperogi-Affon

The Sinanduwiru of Okuta, Alhaji Idris Abdullahi Boro, is dead. The traditional chief died on Friday night after a brief illness.

Meanwhile, the Shettima of Okuta Emirate, Dr. Abdulazeez Arowona, has described the demise of the high chief as a great loss to humanity in general.

Arowona who expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Sinanduwiru, a revered title holder and community leader in the Okuta Emirate, noted that the deceased was strong pillar of wisdom and service as well as confidant of the Emir of Okuta and Chairman Baruten Traditional Rulers Council, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Dr. Idris Abubakar, Kperogi-Affon Serobetete III.

According to him, “The death of Sinanduwiru is a monumental loss to Okuta Emirate and the entire people of Baruten Local Government Area.

“He lived a life of dedication to our traditions, to the unity of our people, and to the progress of our community. He was indeed, a promoter of peace, unity and support for humanity.

The late Sinanduwiru was known for his humility, counsel and commitment to upholding the cultural heritage of Okuta. He said the vacuum left by his passing will be felt across the emirate.”

May Almighty Allah grant the Emir of Okuta, the people of Okuta Emirate and the entire family members of the deceased the fortitude to bear the great loss and grant the deceased Al-Jannah Firdaus.
