Sokoto United FC have announced Monday, August 24, as the resumption date for pre-season preparations ahead of the 2026/27 Nigeria National League season.

The club disclosed this in a statement signed by its Media Manager, Abdulsalam Ibrahim Imam.

All coaches and retained players have been directed to report to camp on or before the resumption date as the club begins preparations for the new campaign.

Sokoto United also announced plans to conduct trials for new players as part of efforts to strengthen the squad ahead of the season.

However, the club said only players officially invited for the trials would be allowed to participate in the exercise.

It warned that players who report without an official invitation would be responsible for their feeding, transportation and other personal expenses.

The management urged all coaches and players to return to camp fully prepared, focused and committed to helping the club achieve its objectives in the 2026/27 campaign.
