Niger Tornadoes will return to the Bako Kotangora Stadium in Minna on Monday to step up preparations for the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League season.

The club, popularly known as the Ikon Allah Boys, is set to resume full training at its home ground after an extended period away due to renovation works at the stadium.

Niger Tornadoes had been using neutral venues for their home matches while the renovation project was ongoing.

The stadium has now been upgraded ahead of the new NPFL season and is awaiting final approval from the league’s organisers before competitive matches can be played there.

The Minna-based club is expected to host Enyimba in its opening fixture of the 2026/27 NPFL campaign, subject to the venue receiving approval.
