The Abubakar Bukola Saraki Foundation has appointed Alhaji Isiaka Sola Gold, former Secretary to the Government of Kwara State, as its Acting Executive Director.
In a statement on Friday by its Regional Director, North Central, Mr. Lawal Olanrewaju Temitayo, the Foundation said the appointment takes immediate effect.
Alhaji Gold, who retired as a Permanent Secretary in the state civil service, was SSG of Kwara State from 2011 to 2019. He had previously headed several ministries and agencies, including the Kwara State Liaison Office in Abuja.
He is expected to deploy his extensive experience in public administration to coordinate the Foundation’s programmes and projects across the country for greater impact.
The Abubakar Bukola Saraki Foundation was founded in 2019 as a non-partisan and apolitical philanthropic organisation dedicated to Nigeria’s development and to creating inclusive opportunities for all Nigerians regardless of ethnicity, religion or political affiliation.
Since inception, the Foundation has delivered community-centred interventions in critical sectors such as clean water, education, healthcare, rural electrification, livelihood empowerment and humanitarian relief.
