BREAKING: MRS, AA Rano Cut Petrol Prices Again in Abuja

Dangote Refinery-backed MRS filling stations and other petroleum retailers have further reduced the pump price of petrol in Abuja and surrounding areas.

A market survey on Monday showed that MRS stations lowered their petrol price from N1,260 to N1,210 per litre, representing a N50 reduction.

Similarly, AA Rano and other filling stations along the Kubwa Expressway reduced their prices by N25 to about N1,275 per litre.

The latest reductions followed Dangote Refinery’s announcement last week that it had cut the prices of petrol and Automotive Gas Oil (AGO).

The development marks another round of price adjustments by petroleum retailers in response to changes in the domestic fuel market.

About eight days earlier, MRS and other filling stations had reduced petrol prices by between N25 and N45 per liter.

The latest cuts are expected to provide some relief for motorists as fuel retailers continue to adjust pump prices following changes in ex-depot and wholesale fuel prices.
