Singer Lil Kesh has spoken publicly for the first time since he was robbed and stabbed in Lagos. The Afrobeat star was reportedly ambushed by assailants who left him with a neck wound and a serious injury to his ear, before escaping with jewellery worth millions.
In a message to fans, Lil Kesh reassured the public of his safety, saying he is focused on recovery. “Life threw me a curveball, but I’m safe, healing, and blessed to be here. Grateful for the love, support and prayers,” he wrote.
The incident has drawn an outpouring of sympathy from fans and fellow artistes, with many sending goodwill messages as the musician continues his recovery.
