Police Arrest Three in Enugu for Robbery and Cultism

The Enugu State Police Command has arrested three suspects in connection with armed robbery and cultism in the state. The arrests were made during separate operations between August 18TH and 20TH.

Police spokesperson Daniel Ndukwe said firearms, live cartridges, a motorcycle, and suspected charms were recovered from the suspects. He noted that preliminary investigations linked one of the men, Okafor Chukwuka, to a robbery in Nara Unataeze, Nkanu East LGA, where a motorcycle was stolen at gunpoint.

Two other suspects, Emeka Odo and Ugochukwu Eze were also apprehended with stolen property. Ndukwe disclosed that Odo confessed to robbing a motorcyclist and selling the motorcycle to Eze.

Commissioner of Police, Mamman Giwa commended the operatives for the arrests and urged residents to support the police with credible information. He assured that the suspects will be arraigned in court after investigations are concluded.
