Prophet Ayodele Warns of Threats to African Leaders, Nigeria

Primate Elijah Ayodele, head of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has warned that U.S. President Donald Trump may target some African presidents, including those in Nigeria, in ways that could worsen the nation’s situation.

In a statement released by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele claimed that Trump’s actions are not in support of President Bola Tinubu, regardless of current efforts by the Nigerian government.

“Donald Trump will ensure he removes some African presidents. America isn’t working in favour of Tinubu. No matter what Tinubu is doing now, Trump will come around against him. America isn’t coming to help you but to remove you,” he said.

Ayodele also issued warnings about potential attacks in several Nigerian states, urging close monitoring of academic institutions and security facilities. He specifically mentioned Abuja, Lokoja, Benue, Kogi, Edo, Ogun, Katsina, Adamawa, Kano, and Sokoto.

He urged the Nigerian government to adopt a proactive stance on national security, emphasizing the need for an active Chief of Army Staff.

“There will still be political assassinations and attacks. People who are on the ground, who are to serve as intelligence to the security operatives, are afraid; no one is ready to do anything,” Ayodele said.

He also warned that top security leaders could be targeted and military armouries ambushed if intelligence and security measures remain inadequate.

The prophet’s comments come amid growing concerns over insecurity in Nigeria, with rising incidents of attacks, political tension, and the threat of unrest in various regions.

Ayodele’s message calls for vigilance and decisive action by security agencies to prevent potential attacks on both political and security institutions.

The warning adds to an ongoing discourse on Nigeria’s preparedness in addressing political and security threats across the country.
