Former Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Senator Philip Aduda, is currently holding a closed-door meeting with the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, and members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC).
Aduda arrived at the APC national secretariat alongside the newly elected Chairman of Bwari Area Council, Joshua Ishakwu, and his Kuje Area Council counterpart, Danjuma Shekwolo.
The meeting comes shortly after Aduda formally resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), citing internal crises within the opposition party.
Although details of the meeting were not immediately disclosed, the development has fueled speculation about a possible political realignment ahead of future elections.
Aduda, a prominent political figure in the FCT, previously served in the National Assembly and has remained influential in Abuja politics.
Observers say his engagement with the APC leadership may signal a potential shift in allegiance, as political actors reposition amid ongoing changes within party structures.
The PDP has faced persistent internal challenges in recent months, prompting defections and raising concerns about its cohesion ahead of upcoming electoral contests.
