Kwara Adjusts Sanitation Exercise for JAMB Exams

The Kwara State Government has adjusted the March monthly environmental sanitation exercise to coincide with the scheduled Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examinations on Saturday, March 28, 2026.

The Commissioner for Environment, Nafisat Musa Buge, said in a statement that the sanitation exercise will hold between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., with vehicular and human movement permitted during the period to enable candidates reach their examination centres without disruption.

The government explained that the adjustment was necessary to accommodate students participating in the nationwide examination while maintaining the monthly sanitation programme.

Residents were encouraged to use the designated hours to clean their homes and business premises to help sustain a safe and hygienic environment across the state.

The statement also noted that waste evacuation trucks would be deployed to support collection and disposal at approved dump sites during the exercise.

Authorities urged the public to cooperate with the arrangement to ensure both the sanitation exercise and the JAMB examinations proceed smoothly.
