Obajisun of Ayedun Thanks Gov. Abdulrazaq, Emir Sulu-Gambari For Elevating His Stool To First Class Status

The Obajisun of Ayedun, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr) Olusegun Abayomi Rotimi (JP) Orimadegun II, Arojojoye I, has expressed his profound gratitude to the Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, for the honour of elevating his stool to First Class status.

 

The monarch, in a statement issued on Sunday described the elevation as a historic milestone for the people of Ayedun and a recognition of the community’s cultural heritage, unity, and contributions to the development of Kwara State.

 

Oba Rotimi specifically thanked the Kwara State Government for its fairness, recognition of traditional institutions, and commitment to strengthening grassroots leadership across the state.

 

He however his heartfelt gratitude to the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, for his exceptional leadership role, guidance, and unwavering support for traditional rulers in the state.

 

The recognition, according to the Obajisun, “is not merely a personal honour but a collective achievement for the sons and daughters of Ayedun at home and in the diaspora.”

 

While assuring that the new status would further motivate him to promote peace, development, and harmony in his domain, Oba Rotimi reaffirmed his loyalty and commitment to partnering with the Kwara State government and other stakeholders in advancing education, security, and socio-economic progress in the community.

 

Obajisun therefore appealed to the people of Kwara State to continue to support the Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq-led government in order to deliver the dividends of democracy to communities and towns across the state.
