A member of the House of Representatives representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency, Daniel Amos, has commended Nigerian workers for their resilience and commitment amid ongoing economic challenges.

In a statement released on Friday to mark Workers’ Day, Amos described workers across the country as the backbone of national development, praising their discipline, dedication, and adaptability in difficult economic conditions.

He noted that despite rising inflation, job insec
urity, and broader economic pressures, Nigerian workers continue to play a critical role in sustaining key sectors of the economy.

According to him, workers remain central to national progress, from agriculture and education to healthcare and business activities that drive economic growth.

Amos emphasized that nation-building is not achieved through policy statements alone but through consistent efforts to improve the welfare of workers and create an enabling environment for productivity.

He called on governments at all levels to prioritize policies that safeguard workers’ rights, improve living conditions, and enhance overall productivity in the workforce.

The lawmaker also praised the resilience of workers in Kaduna State and within his constituency, describing their dedication as a source of hope for a more prosperous and united nation.
