NYSC Sets May 21 for 2025 Batch ‘A’ Passing-Out

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has fixed Thursday, May 21, 2026, for the passing-out ceremony of 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream II corps members across the country.

The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Monday by the scheme’s Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, and shared via its official X handle.

According to the statement, activities leading to the exercise will begin on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, with job advisory and counselling sessions organised by the NYSC in collaboration with relevant agencies. It added that final clearance processes will also be handled by zonal inspectors.

The scheme described the passing-out ceremony as a low-key event, during which Certificates of National Service will be issued to eligible corps members in their respective local government areas nationwide.

The Director-General of the NYSC, Brig.-Gen. Olakunle Nafiu, congratulated the outgoing corps members and wished them success as they complete their service year.

He also urged them to uphold the values of the scheme as they transition into post-service life, encouraging them to remain good ambassadors of the NYSC in their future endeavours.

The exercise marks the completion of the mandatory one-year national service for members of the 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream II cohort deployed across the country.
