The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has signed the All Progressives Congress nomination form of President Bola Tinubu for a second term, describing it as a “victory form” and a signal of continued national development.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by his Senior Special Assistant on Media, Francis Nwaze, Umahi said the endorsement reflects a broader commitment to continuity and the consolidation of achievements under the current administration.
He described the development as a key moment in Nigeria’s governance journey, noting that it represents stability and sustained progress in national development efforts.
According to him, the administration of President Bola Tinubu has initiated major reforms, particularly in infrastructure, with emphasis on road construction and rehabilitation across the country.

Umahi said ongoing projects are aimed at delivering tangible economic benefits and strengthening the foundation for long-term national transformation.
He added that continued leadership would allow the government to complete existing initiatives and deepen development across key sectors of the economy.
The minister also called for sustained public support, stressing that consistent leadership is necessary to achieve long-term national goals.
Meanwhile, the nomination form was reportedly obtained earlier in Abuja by House of Representatives member James Faleke on behalf of the President after the ruling All Progressives Congress opened sales of its presidential forms.
The forms, valued at N100 million, mark the formal commencement of Tinubu’s re-election campaign ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The Independent National Electoral Commission has fixed January 16, 2027, for the presidential and National Assembly elections, while governorship and state assembly polls are scheduled for February 6, 2027.
