The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR has passed Vote of Confidence on the Ilorin Emirate Central Eid Praying Ground Management Committee under the Chairmanship of the Zanna of Ilorin, Engr. Yusuf Lanre Sagaya. 

The Emir expressed satisfaction on the numerous interventions made by the committee towards remodeling the Praying Ground in order to make religious activities easy for worshippers.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari stated this on Monday when he received members of the committee led by Engr. Yusuf Lanre Sagaya.

He further expressed his joy towards Sagaya for his personal visit to him during his annual vacation in Istanbul in the Republic of Turkiye stressing that, “The visit was a landmark display of love, solidarity and loyalty to the stool of Shehu Alimi dynasty.

The monarch added that, “Anytime people ask me about the Eid Praying Ground, I always tell them that we are all under a distinguished and indifatigible Chairman who has brought experts together in order to give our Eid Praying Ground good look. “I am extremely proud of you for supporting us with your wealth, strength and expertise. May Almighty Allah continue to strengthen you and your entire team”, he added.

Earlier in his remarks, Engr. Sagaya thanked the Emir for being a good leader and father to all. He highlighted the present state of the Ilorin Emirate Central Eid Praying Ground and assured the monarch of the continuous efforts of the committee under his leadership across all sectors in the Ilorin and beyond.
