The Obajisun of Ayedun, His Royal Majesty Oba Dr. Olusegun Abayomi Rotimi, felicitates with His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Executive Governor of Kwara State, and His Royal Highness Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Council of Chiefs, on the occasion of the 2026 Eid-Adha Salah celebration.

In a statement issued from his palace, the Obajisun described Eid-Adha as a season that reinforces the values of sacrifice, obedience, unity, and service to humanity.

He noted that under the leadership of Governor AbdulRazaq, Kwara State continues to record steady progress in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and peacebuilding.

He also commended the Emir of Ilorin for his sustained role in promoting intercommunal harmony, religious tolerance, and cultural preservation across the state.

The monarch called on the people of Ayedun and Kwara State at large to use the period of Eid-Adha to strengthen bonds of brotherhood, support the less privileged, and uphold the spirit of sacrifice that defines the celebration.

He urged residents to remain law-abiding and to cooperate with government and traditional institutions in advancing the peace and development of the state.

Oba Rotimi therefore prayed that Almighty Allah accept the acts of worship of the faithful, grant peace and prosperity to Kwara State and Nigeria, and bless the leadership of Governor AbdulRazaq and the Emir of Ilorin with wisdom, good health, and long life in service to the people.
