The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has congratulated Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on his seventh year in office as Governor of Kwara State.

In a statement issued on Friday through his spokesman, Dr. Abdulazeez Arowona, the monarch praised the governor’s leadership and developmental strides since assuming office.

The Emir described AbdulRazaq’s administration as one marked by focused governance, prudent management of resources, and sustained efforts toward improving the socio-economic conditions of the state.

He noted that key sectors such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, and youth empowerment have witnessed notable progress under the current administration.

According to him, these achievements have helped to rebuild public trust in government and strengthen the relationship between citizens and the state.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari also commended ongoing investments in road construction, rural development projects, and human capital development, describing them as people-oriented initiatives.

He further acknowledged the administration’s efforts in promoting peace, unity, and security across Kwara State, as well as its respect for cultural heritage and traditional institutions.

On behalf of the Ilorin Emirate and the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, the Emir prayed for continued wisdom, good health, and divine guidance for the governor as he continues to lead the state.

The message comes as Governor AbdulRazaq marks seven years in office, a period his administration has consistently highlighted as focused on reform and development across key sectors.
