Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade, veteran forward Asisat Oshoala and first-choice goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie are among the first players to arrive at the team’s training camp in Casablanca, Morocco, ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

Also in camp are Glory Ogbonna, Christy Ucheibe, Fatima Oloko, Oluwatosin Demehin, Rofiat Imuran and Shukurat Oladipo.

The Super Falcons opened camp on Monday as preparations begin for the continental tournament, with 16 more players expected to join the squad in the coming days.

Head coach Justine Madugu will lead the nine-time African champions to Morocco for the competition, which runs from July 26 to August 16, 2026.

Nigeria will begin the defence of their WAFCON title against Malawi’s Scorchers at Al Madina Stadium in Rabat on July 28.

The Super Falcons have also been drawn in a group alongside Zambia and Egypt as they bid to extend their record as Africa’s most successful women’s national team.
