Arsenal midfielder, Mikel Merino has identified Barcelona stars Lamine Yamal and Pedri as the two favourites to win the 2025 Ballon d’Or.
Merino insisted that both players had an incredible 2024/25 season with the Blaugrana.
He, however, added that if Spain wins the Nations League, it can ‘push’ the players’ case for the Ballon d’Or.
Both Pedri and Yamal were vital for Barcelona as they won both the LaLiga and the Copa del Rey last season.
