Nigeria Premier Football League side Wikki Tourists have appointed Bashir Saleh as their new Technical Adviser on an interim basis.

Saleh’s appointment follows the resignation of veteran tactician Abdullahi Maikaba on Monday. The club said he will oversee the team pending further directives.

He is expected to resume duties immediately and take charge of the squad ahead of their upcoming fixtures.

Saleh previously served as Chief Coach of Wikki Tourists under Garba Ibrahim. He also worked with Aliyu Zubairu at Gombe United, bringing additional top-flight experience to the role.

The new interim coach will lead Wikki Tourists in their Matchday 26 clash against Rangers in Enugu this weekend.

The club has yet to announce a permanent replacement for Maikaba.
