Galatasaray Insist Osimhen Not For Sale

Turkish champions Galatasaray say they have received no offers for Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen and have no intention of selling him, despite renewed transfer speculation linking him with a move to Spain.

Reports in Spain claim FC Barcelona are preparing a fresh approach for Osimhen this summer, viewing the 27-year-old as a long-term successor to veteran forward Robert Lewandowski.

However, Turkish journalist and Taktikmania podcaster Arda Özkurt said Galatasaray have not been contacted by any club regarding the striker.

“I asked the Galatasaray side if there is any interest in Osimhen. Response: We haven’t received any offers, and we have no intention of selling,” Özkurt wrote on X, adding that the player is also not seeking a move.

While publicly maintaining that Osimhen is not for sale, reports suggest Galatasaray could consider negotiations if a substantial bid is submitted. The club are said to value the striker at around €80 million.

Osimhen joined the Istanbul side on a permanent deal from SSC Napoli earlier this season for a reported €75 million and is under contract until 2029.

He has scored nine goals in 16 league appearances this campaign. The forward also impressed at the recent Africa Cup of Nations, registering four goals and two assists as Nigeria secured a third-place finish.
