The Deputy Governor of Kwara State, Mr Kayode Alabi, on Tuesday decorated his Aide-de-Camp, Inspector Muhammad Awwal Dambatta, with his new rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).

The decoration was jointly performed by the Deputy Governor and the Commissioner of Police, Kwara State Command, CP Adekimi Ojo.

Our Staff reporter, Omotolani Dare who witnessed the event gathered that the newly promoted officer was described as a dedicated and hardworking officer who is committed to security architecture of the Office of the Deputy Governor and beyond.

Well-wishers at the event also commended the officer, describing him as humble, disciplined, and a man of good character.

Following the decoration, Assistant Superintendent of Police Muhammad Awwal Dambatta expressed appreciation by offering a salute to the Deputy Governor and the Commissioner of Police and thank all his friends, colleagues and well-wishers for rejoicing with him, with a pledge to remain focus and dedicated to his duties.
