
Senator Mpigi Barinada, who represented Rivers South East Senatorial District, has passed away.

The news was confirmed by Akin Alabi, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Works, in a tribute on his official X account on Thursday.
Alabi wrote, “Good night my dear friend. Rest in Peace, Senator Mpigi Barinada. Sen Mpigi represented Rivers South East in the Senate.”
