Court Nullifies Atiku’s ADC Presidential Candidacy, Sacks David Mark

The Federal High Court in Abuja has nullified all processes that led to the emergence of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar as the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections.

The court, presided over by Justice Peter Lifu, also removed David Mark, Rauf Aregbesola and other party officials from their positions as national officers.

It further nullified the emergence of all candidates produced by the party for the 2027 elections.

The judgment followed a suit filed by the ADC Deputy National Chairman, Nafiu Bala Gombe, challenging the party’s leadership and the processes that produced its candidates.
