The management of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin has announced the reopening of the institution for academic and administrative activities following approval by the Kwara State Government.
In a statement dated February 26, 2026, and issued by the Office of the Registrar, the Acting Registrar directed all staff and students to resume on Monday, March 2, 2026.
The statement was e-signed by Halimat Garba of the Information Division on behalf of the Acting Registrar.

The management said the reopening applies to both academic and administrative work, urging members of the Polytechnic community to adhere strictly to the directive and return promptly on the scheduled date.
It appreciated staff and students for their cooperation and understanding during the period of closure and expressed optimism about a productive completion of the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic session.
