Lookman Seeks to End Goal Drought Against Getafe

Ademola Lookman will be aiming to end a five-match goal drought when Atlético Madrid face Getafe CF in a La Liga clash on Saturday.

The match will take place at the Metropolitano Stadium, with Atlético looking to maintain their recent strong run of form.

Lookman, who joined the Spanish side from Atalanta BC during the January transfer window, made an impressive start to life in Madrid.

The 28-year-old winger recorded seven goal contributions in his first seven appearances for the club, quickly becoming an important part of the team’s attack.

However, the Nigerian international has struggled to maintain that momentum, failing to register a goal or assist in his last five matches.

Despite his recent dip in form, Atlético have remained competitive, losing just once in their last seven games across all competitions under manager Diego Simeone.

Lookman will be hoping to rediscover his scoring touch as Atlético seek another positive result against Getafe.
