Plateau Gov. Aide, Moses Nwan, Bags PhD Degree, Donates Books To National Open University of Nigeria

Dr Moses Nwan, the Executive Private Secretary to Governor Caleb Muftwang of
Plateau State, on Saturday donated 105 research books to the department of Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) Headquarters, Abuja.

Nwan noted that the donation was part of his contributions to the development of research in the institution owing to the encouragement and inspiring efforts of the lecturers of the department throughout his doctoral degree program.

He stated when presenting the books which cut across the field of Security, Peace Studies, Conflict Resolution as well as Humanities in general.

He thanked the leadership of the department and faculty of social sciences for their painstaking efforts towards producing another set of world-class Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution Doctoral Degree holders.

Nwan pledged his continuous support for the centre and the University in general.

 

In his remarks, the Head of Department of Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution, Dr. Philip Orebiyi, thanked the donor and encouraged other alumni to emulate the gesture towards the growth of research and educational development in the nation.

 

Also, the Dean of Faculty of Social Sciences,  Professor Kamal Bello, commended Dr. Moses Nwan for the donation.
