Nigerian actor and filmmaker Lateef Adedimeji and his wife, Adebimpe Adedimeji, have announced the birth of their triplets, sparking widespread celebration across social media and within the entertainment industry.

The award-winning actor shared the news on May 1, 2026, via a video posted on his Instagram page, where he revealed that the couple had quietly welcomed three children.

In an emotional message, Lateef explained his recent absence from the public eye, describing it as a period of reflection and preparation for a life-changing blessing.

“I’ve been quiet… not absent. I was building, protecting, and embracing the greatest blessing of my life,” he wrote, adding that the couple had been blessed with “three kings” and expressing gratitude to God for the moment.

Lateef Adedimeji, who hails from Abeokuta in Ogun State, married Adebimpe Adedimeji from Ijero-Ekiti in Ekiti State on December 18, 2021.
