Mummy Wa Opens Up About Being Single at 30

Nigerian content creator and comedian Kemi Ikuseedun, popularly known as Mummy Wa, has shared why she remains single as she approaches her 30th birthday.

The skitmaker revealed that her tendency to develop crushes on fictional characters rather than real-life partners has played a major role in her relationship status.

Speaking in a video broadcast, Ikuseedun said many women can relate to becoming emotionally attached to characters portrayed in movies and television shows.

“The reason why I am still single is because I went to go and fall in love with a fictional character. And it is not only me, a lot of women fall for fictional characters. But where are we going to see him?” she said.

She cited South Korean actor Lee Min-ho as an example, admitting that she has long admired his character in the popular television drama Boys Over Flowers.

“I am almost 30, and I am still waiting for Lee Min Ho. What if I meet Lee Min Ho in real life and he is not the same as the person in ‘Boys Over Flowers’?” she said.

Ikuseedun added that her attraction to fictional characters has made it difficult for her to form romantic connections in real life.

“Honestly, I am still single because it is only fictional characters I keep falling for,” she stated.
